Most of us begin our exam preparation by analysing the previous year's question papers and memorizing concepts. But does reading and cramming up work for all?
Read each of the statement given below in Part A, B and C and Imagine each of the situations or experiences and assess how hard or easy it is for you to do it. For example: if the situation is easy and you are able to represent it in the form of a clear image that is very close to reality give yourself a score of 9 to 10. If the image is hazy or not clear give yourself 1-2 marks according to the clarity. Write your marks separately for each part against its no.
You will soon know which method is best for you.
Be honest and do it quickly not taking more than a few
seconds for each statement.
Part A

Now add the marks you scored in each part and see which is
the highest.
You are a visual
learner. You learn best by seeing things, pictures, diagrams, flowcharts,
highlighters, reading books, reading posters, etc.
Tips: Use highlighters while studying, draw diagrams, doodles, watch videos.
You are an auditory learner. You learn best by listening to you tutor, or podcasts, recordings, group studies, etc.
Tips: Try audiobooks or apps which will read out for you, engage in group discussions, read notes out loud, record notes and listen.
If you scored the highest in part C,
You are a kinesthetic learner. You learn best by working practically or by witnessing certain incidents.
Tips: Try to make models, write notes while reading, move around while studying or do something which will help you remember
better.
